This Burberry bag might not be avant garde but I love the silver leather and the fact that its design is balanced between functionality and beauty. The price of this “made in Italy” bag is USD895, which in my opinion, makes it a must-have.

With the rains and floods all over big cities in Asia such as Singapore and China, it is time you keep those suede pumps and platforms back into your closet and step out of the house in one of these pairs of rain boots from Gucci, Burberry and Givenchy.
From left: Gucci (USD270), Givenchy (USD250) and [...]
I don’t know what has been going on with Burberry bags lately, there are some very nice bags in the current collection but there are some hideous ones too, point is, I have not been interested in their bags lately and I really don’t know why. Anyway, this quilted bag screams nothing Burberry at all. [...]
I hope Christopher Bailey had nothing to do with this bag because he is awesome and this is ridiculous. Available at Saks for USD750 if you want a bag that is more ridiculous than a Paris Hilton monogrammed bag.

A Burberry bag without its signature check to me feels like a candy without sugar. Make not mistake, I think it is a bold move from Burberry to constantly try to detach its image from solely depending on the check to sell things up to the point of abusing the heritage of the signature. This [...]
Isn’t it a smart idea to perforate the leather on the body of this bag to show the Burberry signature check as an underlay? The result is cool and the check is not overwhelming, differentiating it from the usual logo-ed bags, yet still unmistakably Burberry. This is a rare piece and worth investing in at [...]
While the coats are fantastic, the men bags for Burberry Fall/Winter 2010 suffer from attention deprivation disorder. Don’t bags generate big chunk of revenue for Burberry? Seems like the British icon picks outerwear over bags any day.
Burberry’s latest attempt to excite and feminize its black check is not bad. The floral print might not be that obvious and striking but it adds some character to the canvas. This Bowler is priced at GBP595, which is quite reasonable for the size and style.

What a beautiful bag! Although I have to admit that the word ‘Baby’ makes it a little repulsive. Nevertheless, if you could get over that fact and have GBP8,000 to spare for this beauty. It is all good.

The latest British invasion comes in the form of undeniably beautiful clothes, trench, bags and shoes from Burberry. Especially for the last eight years, Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative officer, has got the world under his spell.
Bailey made a visit to Buckingham Palace last Friday to receive his Member of the Order of the British [...]
Christmas is just about a month away. Can’t believe how fast the year 2009 went by. It seems like nothing much has been accomplished this year and it is almost over. There is no plan to spend Christmas anywhere overseas this year. Some of my friends will be spending the holidays in Japan. I am [...]
The house of Burberry is best known for its trench coats and Christopher Bailey embraces that. Maybe not in countries like Singapore but in Europe and US, trench coats are part of daily life. Burberry might not have projects that involve artists like Takashi Murakami or Richard Prince but when Mr Bailey has a project, it [...]
It is the rainy season in this part of the world now and sometimes it makes me feel like wearing a PVC boot out. Unfortunately that is out of question with my job and the way people dress in general in Singapore. Anyway, it is time to keep your leather and especially suede (God forbid!) [...]
We first featured the Burberry Fall/Winter 2009 runway previews in June 09 and most items are now available in the stores. The Burberry check has been reinvented in many variations and for Fall/Winter 2009, Christopher Bailey has reintepreted it again in military overdyed print which makes it come across tougher and non-pretentious. Featured here are [...]
Finally i visited ION Orchard yesterday and while the interior design and arrangement of the mall is pretty much a let-down mainly due to its small walking space and big crowds, the shops are exciting and some are long due to arrive in Singapore. Taking the mall front are Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Dolce & [...]
